A Message from the Referral Agent:

Sisters and Brothers,

New York State Paid Sick Leave 5.06B in the CBA Update:

Per our new Labor Agreement, the contractors have been distributing 2.25% of your gross hourly wage to the Fund Office monthly like all our other fringe benefits. Individual accounts have been set up, and your monies are here. Unfortunately, we are still working on how to distribute to each of us. You will receive a close out check in the first week of January from this account. Starting on February 25th we will be able to make monthly withdrawals from this account. The fund office will be sending out a more detailed mailer explaining how this new account will work. We apologize for this inconvenience.

New apparel has arrived! Grey Polo Shirts are $55.00 and new T-Shirts and sweatshirts are in. Check out the Local 86 website for pictures and pricing of all merchandise for sale.

We currently only have about 45% of the members that have logged into their Annuity account with Empower. Please log in and set your account up with the website and/or app. This is YOUR MONEY, and you choose how to invest it. For any questions on getting started, please contact the fund office.

-Attention all CW and CE’s, per are Labor Agreement (section 2.11) all new Journeyman are required to have OSHA-30 and NFPA-70E certificates. That said, you will need both certificates BEFORE being eligible to take the Booth Exam to test to become a Journeyman. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Todd.

Remember to update the Union office and Fund office of any changes; such as marriage, changed addresses, newborn, phone number or email address etc.. It is particularly important to have your beneficiary forms updated and filed.
