IBEW Local 86 along with Ferguson Electric are in need of Journeyman Wireman for the U of R Bed Tower Project.
The current rate of pay for a JW is $44.30 an hour. On Monday June 1st, 2026, that increases to $47.40. The current benefits package is $30.50 per hour that will increase to $32.60 per hour. This project is currently working 5 nine hours days and 1 eight hour day. That’s 40 hours of straight time and 13 hours at time and a half. IF YOU WORK 95% of the available hours there is a $300 dollar incentive (taxed) each week. If you are a traveler and are coming from 50 miles outside of the Rochester area there is an $850 per diem.
